4 pears
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons walnuts (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons white confectioner's sugar
1 teaspoon milk
Use Hershey's chocolate sauce - or see chocolate sauce recipe
Cove pears from bottom leaving stems.
Peel pears
Slice off bottoms
Mix sugar, pears, water in a saucepan, and simmer until pears are soft.
Remove from heat, add vanilla
Let pears cool in syrup
Combine nuts, conf. sugar and milk
Drain pears and fill with mixture
Pour chocolate on top
